Fun day

Hahaha! Things that happened today was pretty eventful and hilarious.

Incident #1:

One of my roommates actually set the fire alarm off. Hehe! She was trying to cook chicken and she had the temprature for the stove up so high. So, the pan got really hot and she put butter on it. Since she didn't on the stove fan thingy that absorbs the smoke/heat and all our windows were shut cause of the air conditioning, the whole dorm started to get smokey. There was kinda like a burn smell and the fire alarm just went off. LOLXX!!

She paniced and was like, "Audrey! I set the fire alarm off! Oh my gosh!" Hahah!! She is so funny. I ran out to help her and yes, I helped her cook her chicken. We opened all the windows and she was using a towel and fanning the fire alarm sensor cause she didn't want it to keep going off.

We were so afraid that the fire brigade would come cause it went off like 3 times. Haha!!!

Incident #2:

Well, hours later, I caught her doing math homework, and she was using this thing on the computer where you put your equation in and it gives you the answers. So, we were kinda racing. I would do it by hand and she would use the computer thing. Hehe!! I ended up doing her math homework for her! I volunteered of course. I was bored okay. And it was easy.

While I was doing my roommate's homework, she and my other roommate and a friend of ours were trying on different bras!! Good god! They were changing right out in the hallway with a big mirror infront of them. Even with their backs facing me, I would have been able to see them

through the mirror. One of them some more ask me to try on the bras!! Damn cha dou! Haha!!

We were all gathered at that room, and they changed in front of the mirror. Good god! My roommates are hilarious at times!

Hmm, I was just wondering, since I am always looking back into the past and I am too lazy to write a handwritten diary, I might as well take this as a daily journal. Obviously I can't call this a diary cause EVERYONE and ANYONE can read it. But if the post is too personal, I'll just put a password to it lo. Wah! So smart ar me! *Pat myself on the head*

Sigh. Today I skipped my Chinese class.. AGAIN. I think this is like the 5th time I'm skipping liao. What to do. They were giving an exam today le. And I haven't practice all the Chinese characters yet. Surely flunck that exam one. So, I just email-ed Liu Laoshi and said I am too busy preparing for finals, no time to go for the exam. Hehe! Not an excuse! It is quite true okay.

I didn't skip my Chinese class to sleep too. Had a meeting with my Performing Culture group to discuss about our performance which is due on Wed(11/19).

The thing with groups is, it is very frustrating when not all members are participating and when we all have time conflict. I am not saying that all four of them are a pain in the ass or anything. It is more like this whole performance itself is a pain in the ass.

I was getting so mad that after being approved by our prof of what we can say in our performance, and after approximately 5 meetings, we were still discussing about who should stand where and when to dim or off the lights.

I mean, COME ON!! Get on with the program already!! It's just that we were so into all these trivial stuff that we forgot the main point of this performance lo. We were more concern about the lighting and placing than what message we want to send to the audience through our performance. And it is not like we always get to have all five of us meet together all the time you know! Time is precious!

Well, at least we actually progressed a lot today. We did a recording where we say 'racists statements.' We say it line by line at first, clearly and slowly at first. Then we go faster and faster. This is to show that we are hearing these racist comments, and it gets so overwhelming like when you are trying to think in a crowded place but all you can hear are the loud chattering around you. It was really fun doing that cause we had to stop ourselves from laughing all the time.

We finally had a whole outline of where we stand, the transition among ourselves and our ending too. Our performance should be good but I think we could do much better. Maybe I am just being too hard on myself/the performance. Maybe the performance will come together nicely once we get our actual script written down and have a proper rehearsal . I'm keeping my fingers crossed! >.<

*Whispers* I hope Alyssa isn't reading this. I gave her my blog site the other day so that she could get pictures. Keeping my fingers cross for this too =P

Later, Dad came and we went to get lunch/dinner. To those of you who has never seen my dad (well, that would basically mean almost everyone hor?), I introduce to you, CHOW AH MING!!

LOLXXX!!! I wonder what he would say if he knew I put a picture of him like that on my blog. My mum was saying the other day when she saw her picture in my blog, "Of all pictures, you had to choose the ugliest. Can't you put a nicer picture of your mother and sis?" And my answer was, "Nope! Where is the fun in that?" MUAHAHAHAH!!!!

I wanna show you my dad's car too. For some reason, he is kinda proud of his car, but I don't think he would ever admit it out loud.

Oooh! This reminds me. I have to take a picture of my mum's car too! For remembrance ^^ (Remind me ya, Amanda Chow! Or you can take the picture and send to me k?)

Went to P.F.Changs to eat.

The food here not bad you know. I go there to eat every weekend.

Then went to Target to restock food in my dorm. Hmm, will take a picture of Target and Publix next time to show you guys what the 'supermarket' is like. Maybe should take a picture of the mall also hor?

Enough of that. Didn't do much after that liao. Came home, surf net and eat again. Now I'm off to study, surprisingly. Hope I don't fall asleep again.

Lazy lar..

Aiyoh! I suddenly start to feel like writing a blog post is almost like homework liao.

Some more I notice alot of people now missing in action/stop writing in their blog liao. Is it too much of a hassle ar?

Several reasons why I am getting tired of writing a post:

#1. Finals around the corner and assignments up to my neck!

#2. No life

#3. Takes up too much time to write one bloody post.

#4. No life.

#5. Seeing others MIA in their own blog, my passion for writing in blogs also degrade liao.

#6. No life.

#7. Fat liao. So don't have the self-esteem to take pic of myself.

#8. No life.

Hmm, that's about it la.

I'm just feeling pretty lousy these few days due to uni pressure. Until I get some pretty good reasons to write, I think I will also slack abit la k?

Remember how I said I would be bringing my camera to class everyday now. Well, I did. And it turned out, I got to take the picture with everyone in my Performing Culture class (the blackout class from previous post). This time, I was at least 10 minutes early to class, so I got to make everyone take a picture with me.

Before I show the pictures, I want to thank Lane for being my camera man. I feel so bad cause he was talking and I kept asking him to take the pictures for me. He has steady hands okay! That's why the pictures turn out so well! That and because I am in the picture also la. Hehe!!

Just want to let you know lo. It is not easy getting these pictures. Had to throw away my pride awhile and say, "Take a picture with me pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!" Haha! But they were really nice. Did you notice that there were only a few guys and mostly girls? Haha! I dunno why though.

Anyway, aren't you surprised I got all their names? Even the girl I said I didn't remember in my previous post. I cheated though. When we did our performances, as an audience, we were suppose to analyze our classmate's performances as well. I had all their names in my notes, so I just peeked from there. Hehe!

Even in my Principles of PR class there are only like 4 guys I think. Oh!!! That reminds me. Something happened in class today. Damn funny(well, I find it funny. I don't know about you)

Well, as you can see in these two top pictures, there are mostly all girls right? There was this girl who walked in to class today. Two guy friends(not gonna name them) around me were suddenly mouthing out the words (Is that even a correct way to say it?) and stealing glances at this girl. Actually one of them had a stunned expression on his face and his mouth was hanging wide open. At first I didn't get it. Then I realized they were talking about the girl's rack!! LOLX!!! I was laughing like mad! I have to say, they were huge though.

The funny thing was, after that(the stunned look and mouth wide open happened before class started), while Prof. Moniz was teaching, they would have a silent conversation (mostly through eye contact and small hand gestures cause they sat two seats apart). Since I was sitting in between them, I could see it. They were actually rating girls' rack!! Damn cha dou wei!!

Anyway, that is about all. Gonna end here by saying, I AM NOT JOBLESS ANYMORE! I will be working starting tomorrow. Yes!! Income has finally arrived! Will show you pictures of my workplace next time. Till then~

Too bored liao

Now, I am so sure that everyone in class thinks I am a crazy Asian chick who likes to take pictures while the prof. is teaching.

Hehe! It was either cause I was too bored or I didn't get enough sleep or cause the migraine I had that day was messing with my head. But I was like a crazy person who went around taking picture with everyone and of everything.

I look kinda retarded here cause once I turned on my camera, I looked at Adam(the guy in the pic), said "pst!," picked up my camera and took this picture. Hehe!!

A view from where I sat in my Principles of PR class. The funny thing was, every time I took a picture, Nico, Bo, Stacy, Adam and Kathy would turn around and look at me cause they heard the "click" sound my camera made. They sat near me. Haha!! I hope Prof. Moniz didn't hear it though. =P

I was pretending to listen to Prof. Moniz. I took this pic while she was looking at me, but my hand with the camera was blocked by Nico. I think she didn't see the camera.

Adam, me and Bo. We were suppose to be discussing the article Prof. Moniz gave us. But I was too busy putting self timer for my camera and adjusting for a good angle. This was the pic that was taken.

Sometimes I love taking picture with people here. They damn sporting lo. Every time I raise my camera, and they sure will pose for me one. If I wan to take a picture with them they sure will take with me one. ^^

This picture I took with while pretending to yawn and stretched my arms with the camera in hand. I think Prof. Moniz saw me though cause I saw her glance over at my direction.

This is my Performing culture class. Remember I mentioned before about having to perform about racism/sexism etc on stage. This is the class. We were having discussion also. Very boring cause the teacher finish teaching liao. So now all we do is discuss.

I don't know if you can tell it through these pictures but there was a blackout. The light that you are seeing in these pictures were actually coming in from the window and emergency light.

When I was taking all these pictures, Prof. Sachiko did not even turn around. Swt!

I don't know her that well, but when I ask her to take a pic, she does. Some more we took this pic 3 times cause the first 2 was blurry. Hehe! (I can actually hear Danny, XM and Jess saying, "Tsk tsk tsk! So mah fan. Have to take so many times" LOLX!!!)

This picture was taken when my prof left the class to check out about the blackout. Sigh~ I really wanted to take with everyone in class, but cause of the delay with this picture, Prof. Sachiko came back.

Overall, the pictures came out alright. I am really satisfied. Either way, I had a headache, so I didn't really care.

Hehe! I think I might just bring my camera to class everyday now. It is nearly the end of the semester, so have to take pics with classmates. I need to get the dust off my camera anyways. What do you think?

I need a life, badly!

I got friends that ask me lo, "Eh Audrey, why you don't post the parties you go to when you in US one? I always here you say play computer and study only. Like nerd la."

The problem is, I don't go to parties. Cause they mostly require me to drink and I don't. So, when I don't drink, people here kinda look at me funny. Harder to mix around la.

And since I don't have a life besides studying, surfin' the net and watching anime, I can only provide lame pictures.

I took these bunch of pictures when I was in my 8am class yesterday. It shows the journey from my class all the way back to my room. Real lame. Sorry, I don't have a life. Hehe!

I really really like this picture. There was this time when I was walking pass this place (we call it breeze walk), I suddenly stopped because it was mesmerizing. The wind was blowing, clear sky, sun was out, freshness of the morning.. just perfect.

The End. LOLX!!! Lame hor. It was funny though when I was taking all these pictures. Everyone were looking at me like I was crazy cause I kept walking and stopping every 20 steps I take to snap a pic. There was this guy who was walking towards my direction saw me snapping a picture at his direction. Then I heard him say to his friend, "How do I look?" LOLX!!! Dunno whether he knew I heard him or not.

Since no SS partner like Jess and Xin Min here, this will have to do. Will try to get a life soon.
